Brexit Still Going Nowhere?

Brexit discussions continue in the UK and the latest round of rumors suggest that the government is considering a second Brexit referendum.

Meanwhile, cross-party talks on Brexit don’t seem to be heading anywhere judging by the news reports coming out of the UK. According to reports in the BBC, the government has not yet yielded and brought anything new to the table.

What’s encouraging, however, is that both the ruling party and the opposition are keen to make progress and work towards a Brexit deal. Key stakeholders in the government remain hopeful that the progress so far could mean that Brexit discussions would move towards the next stage.

For now, the UK government aims to exit the EU latest by August 1. But with cross-party talks still heading nowhere, the Brexit headache looks nowhere near over for PM Theresa May.
