Edina, Minnesota-based Lunds & Byerlys is recalling around 500 containers of L&B Lone Star Dip because of potential mold growth contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recall involves L&B Lone Star Dip in 12 oz. packages, with UPC 18169-74197 and best by dates of 10-15-24 and 10-17-24.

The recalled product was sold at Lunds & Byerlys stores throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding area.

The recall was initiated after store employees noticed the product concern, and notified the company’s Quality Assurance team.

However, no illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the recall.

Customers, who purchased the impacted product recently, are urged to return it to any Lunds & Byerlys for a full refund or destroy the product immediately.

In similar recalls, Quebec, Canada -based Authentik Fudge in late August called back 840 units of Chocolate Fudge with Nuts branded MONTREAL FUDGE in the United States, citing potential mold growth contamination.
