Spy Games - White House Mix and Match

Author: Skerdian Meta, Head Analyst /Tuesday, March 13, 2018/Categories: Live Market Updates

Since President Donald Trump has come to power, we have seen all sorts of policies and stories. If there is one place he has been constant, is with his staff at the White House. He fired people with key positions, then he appointed new staff who supported him in the presidential campaign, then fired them again after a short time. Remember, it’s been only a year after he stepped in.

He fired Rex Tillerson and appointed CIA Director Mike Pompeo as the new secretary of State. Gina Haspel was chosen to be the next deputy director of the CIA, the first woman to take the job.

If you've been following the news recently, a former Russian spy and his daughter were poisoned in the UK a few days ago. They were poisoned by a substance that has been produced in Russia in the late 1980s. Litvinenko, another former Russian spy, was poisoned in 2006 in London as well.

Rex Tillerson held a speech yesterday stating that “this is an egregious act” and that “it appears that it clearly came from Russia”. Today, Tillerson is saying his goodbyes. Trump did not explain anything about this impromptu firing and Tillerson is out, against his wishes.

What is the connection here? The Russians surely helped President Trump win the elections with all the fake news about Hillary Clinton It appears they have a friend in the White House. UK Prime Minister Theresa May gave Russia until 4 PM to explain the poisoning but they want evidence of the substance that was used to poison the former spy.

The US Dollar took another blow upon this news, the decline stopped now. The economic news, the technicals, and the Russian spy fiasco are affecting the forex market. This is what we have to deal with to make it in this business. Bring it on Russia and Trump.
