Trump’s Crypto Donation Page Goes Down Just Two Days After Launch

Former President Donald Trump announced his campaign’s acceptance of cryptocurrency donations as a stand against “socialistic government control,” aiming to rally a “crypto army.” According to Nansen data, the price of the $TRUMP cryptocurrency surged by 14% in just one day.

Trump’s campaign donation page emphasized, “To save our nation from Biden’s failures, we need your support. While Biden imposes regulations and red tape, President Trump is prepared to embrace new technologies to make America great again.”

“We will build a crypto army to propel the campaign to victory on November 5th,” stated the Trump campaign.

The campaign is accepting donations in popular digital currencies, including Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ether. Pre-set donation amounts range from $20.24 to $4547, with unique options like $45 and $47, symbolizing Trump’s 45th presidency and his bid for the 47th.

Despite Trump receiving more donations than President Joe Biden last month, his campaign is still working to outpace Biden’s fundraising efforts.

The campaign has also targeted Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, a strong critic of digital assets. The Trump campaign cited Warren’s comments about building an “anti-crypto army” as part of Biden’s effort to limit financial freedom.

“President Trump has reduced regulations and promoted financial technology innovation, while Democrats like Biden and Warren believe only the government can lead our nation,” stated the Trump campaign.
