ARPA Will Integrate the ETH 2.0 BLS Signature by June 30

Updated Tuesday, May 11, 2021
The upgrade from Ethereum to Ethereum 2.0 took place on December 1 2020. The soaring DeFI transactions since the middle of 2020 increased the transaction costs and transaction speed on the Ethereum blockchain network, which also introduced sharding to the network. Ethereum 2.0 was on the way already and these factors accelerated its introduction. ARPA which runs on the Ethereum network, has planned to integrate ETH 2.0 Boneh–Lynn–Shacham (BLS) signature scheme into ARPA MPC node," during Q2 2021, although there's no set date for this implementation. This will  increase the security in the ARPA chain.

ARPA/USD Factors Affecting ARPA Prices

ARPA/USD started the bullish run late compared to the rest of the cryptocurrency market, but made some major gains during March 2021. Although, it has been unable to resume the bullish trend since the retreat in April. With the increased security after the integration of Eth 2.0 BLS signature though, the interest for ARPA is expected to grow, which will help elevate the price, which will also be affected by the sentiment in the broad crypto market.
