The US presidential election day is scheduled for November 3rd. This is preceded a number of by smaller events, such as both parties conventions, debates, polls etc. The polls haven't indicates a clear winner and the tensions are high in the US, so this will be a heated election, which will probably be followed by contests. So, expectations are for high volatility during and after the elections. Although, if Donald Trump wins a clear majority, then the odds of the USD entering a bullish phase are higher, since Trump is against hard coronavirus measures, on top of the stimulus programmes.
