Dow futures are expected to trade lower on Tuesday morning ahead of the Fed’s two-day meeting on interest rates. Markets are trading cautiously as they wait to hear how the US central bank is planning to deal with the recent weak economic data releases and the ongoing trade war with China.

Although the Fed is widely anticipated to maintain interest rates at current levels, investors are waiting to hear for clues on any possible rate cuts in the near future to offset potential slowdown in economic growth and weakening inflation.

At the time of writing, DOW is trading at a little over 26112.
