New Earning Opportunities for Telegram Users

Social messaging platform Telegram is offering its users additional ways to earn money as it expands its list of features.

Now, creators on Telegram have more ways to make money. Paid subscriptions will be made available on the platform that will allow users to receive additional content from Telegram creators.

Telegram is introducing new ways to earn money.

The social media and messaging platform has positioned itself as an alternative to WhatsApp and Twitter, offering extensive privacy protection and security options that users simply do not have with the other services. They are now promoting new money earning opportunities for people who create content for the platform.

Telegram uses a proprietary digital currency known as Stars, and users on the platform can buy subscription services and extra content with that currency. Creators can invite users onto their personal channels in exchange for Stars payments, giving their users access to content before anyone else and providing them with special bonuses that they would not get elsewhere.

The innovations to the platform have been compared to the way Patreon works, with different tiers of bonuses and exclusive content. Creators on Telegram have a lot of freedom with this new system, and they can even determine their own pricing. The Stars digital currency can be converted into the very popular Toncoin tokens, which has grown to be the #8 crypto token on the market.

Toncoin is valued at $6.61 (TON/USD) right now and has continued to climb the charts and enter the mainstream alongside major digital currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin. Today, Toncoin is down 6.57% compared to the previous day.

More Earning Options Coming to Telegram

Telegram earns a commission on all transactions that involve Stars, so the company is incentivized to expand its options for earning money to its users. One of the upcoming features is Star Reactions, which lets users provide support to content creators. Users can simply react to content, which transfers Stars from their accounts to those of the content creator. Telegram will take no commission from these interactions.

If these new features are successful, Telegram’s users can expect more ways to interact with and buy from content creators, and creators can expect more methods of reaching their fans and providing content for them.

Telegram may be hitting 1 billion users soon, as the company announced that they had recently hit 950 million users worldwide. By next year, the company expects to be profitable and to potentially go public and start offering stock shares.
