Boba Network to Undergo 2nd Upgrade
EVENT ENDED
According to Boba Network, the Holocene hard fork will be made available on the Boba Sepolia and Boba BNB testnets on January 6th at 8:00 UTC. Alongside this update, new versions of op-erigon (v.1.2.10) and op-node (v.1.6.14) have been made available. Periodically, modifications are made to the network to enhance performance or fix issues. Changes that are incompatible with earlier iterations of the software that supports the bitcoin network are referred to as hard forks. Miners must upgrade the program in order to keep mining.

Factors Affecting BOBA/USD
The hardfork that is taking place on testnets is a sign of development progress and could have a moderate impact on price. Although it has less of an immediate impact than mainnet events, it is essential for the future evolution of networks. Although it is not a significant price driver, traders may use it as an indication of developing technology.
About Boba Holocene Hardfork
Boba Network is an optimistic multichain layer-2 scaling solution designed to enhance rollup technology and support more flexible blockchain interoperability. Fully compatible with EVM-based tools, Boba Network already supports multichain integration with Avalanche, BNB, Moonbeam, and Fantom, delivering rapid transactions at fees that are 40-100 times lower than those on their respective layer-1 chains. The network leverages Hybrid computing technology, which blends Web2 capabilities with on-chain functionality. This setup enables developers to utilize off-chain computing and integrate real-world data, allowing for improved decentralized application experiences. Boba Network thus aims to provide a powerful and versatile scaling solution for the growing blockchain ecosystem.
