According to the National Statistics Institute report:
- The Spanish GDP reported an expansion of 0.7% in the first quarter of 2019. Well, this rate is one tenth higher than the one recorded in the fourth quarter.
- The year-on-year growth of GDP persists at 2.4%, one-tenth higher than that of the previous quarter.
- The contribution of public demand to the yearly growth of GDP is 2.2 points, three tenths lower than that of the fourth quarter. On the other hand, external demand represents a contribution of 0.2 points, four tenths higher than the quarter past.
