The White House announced that Boeing will sell 160 aircraft to Qatar. Boeing President and CEO Kelly Ortberg signed the order alongside the president in Qatar. According to Trump, the order is the biggest in the company’s history and is valued at over $200 billion.
“Kelly is telling me that this is the biggest order of jets Boeing has ever had,” Trump said. That’s quite impressive. And that’s 140—was that 140 or 160? “Well…yes, but when you include the 40, it’s 200, more than $200 billion. Trump remarked, “But 160 in terms of the jets, that’s fantastic.”. Kelly, that’s a record. And congrats to Boeing.
