The leading cryptocurrencies are starting the week with losses of up to 2%. Bitcoin (BTC) is down 1.0% over the past 24 hours, amid heightened uncertainty following the U.S. airstrike on Iran this past Saturday.
Despite a mild rebound on Monday, BTC has recorded a 6.1% drop so far this week. Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) have both fallen by 15.5%, while XRP is down 12.9%, according to data from Binance.
Binance Coin (BNB) is up 2.5% on the day but remains down 5.2% for the week. Meanwhile, Dogecoin (DOGE) has plunged 14.7% this week, despite gaining 2.8% in the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin Continues to Attract Institutional Interest
In contrast to the price pullback, Bitcoin-backed investment products have seen strong inflows, with $1.24 billion added over the past 10 weeks. Year-to-date inflows have reached a record $15.1 billion in 2025.
According to CoinShares, these inflows—driven primarily by institutional and corporate investors—have remained resilient despite mounting geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
However, the pace of inflows slowed during the second half of the week, partly due to the Juneteenth holiday in the U.S., which commemorates the end of slavery in 1865.
Meanwhile, Ethereum-based investment products posted $124 million in inflows during their ninth consecutive week of gains, bringing the total for that streak to $2.2 billion.
