Crypto exchange Gemini has just brought out their Solana Edition Credit Card – a pretty cool move that lets customers earn SOL rewards and automatically stake them. This move is right on the heels of Gemini’s earlier XRP Credit Card success, which put the firm one step closer to merging everyday spending with blockchain rewards.
The card comes with some pretty interesting perks, like earning up to 4% cashback in SOL on purchases that are eligible. Oh and one more thing – no annual or foreign transaction fees. Gemini’s Vault Rewards program lets users juice up returns up to 10% by shopping at select merchants, depending on how much they spend and any promotions that might be running.
A brand new feature that Gemini’s just introduced is auto-staking – meaning users can stake their SOL rewards directly from the platform. This partnership is with the platform for yields of up to 6.77% – it really streamlines things for individual users, who no longer have to deal with messy transfers or third-party wallets.
Gemini has launched a Mastercard World Elite card in partnership with Solana.
Cardholders will be able to earn up to 4% cashback in SOL on everyday purchases and up to 10% with partners.

Key features & benefits for users
- 4% SOL cashback on eligible purchases
- 10% extra with a few of the merchant partners
- Auto-stake with up to 6.77% yields
- No annual or foreign transaction fees – a real leg up
- Rewards in 50+ different cryptos, including the big ones like BTC and ETH
The Solana version of the card builds on the success of the XRP Edition Card – offering faster transactions and reduced fees, thanks to Solana’s super-fast blockchain. And if you’re wondering – the card design is chock full of Solana branding, which is a big deal for Gemini as they look to integrate blockchain into everyday consumer finance.
On top of all that, cardholders will still get to enjoy the usual perks from Gemini’s partner companies like Booking.com and Lyft, which should appeal to both seasoned crypto users and newbies.
Taking Gemini to the next level
This new card is a big deal, especially since it comes on the back of Gemini’s international expansion. In May 2025, the exchange got themselves a MiFID II license in Malta, which lets them sell crypto derivatives across the EU. And just to top it off, Gemini got a $50m cash injection from Nasdaq, while the Winklevoss twins chipped in a $21m Bitcoin donation to help them make their mark in US crypto policy.
Gemini has also just made USDC and USDT transfers on Solana possible, making it faster and cheaper to get it all done. With the Solana Credit Card, they’re right at the intersection of crypto and consumer finance, making progress on their aim to get digital assets into everyday spending.
