The global stock markets are on the verge of a bearish trend as a slowdown in global economies and recent projections from IMF are affecting corporate sales adversely.

Global stock market outlook turned bearish after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released its global growth forecast. IMF cautioned that global economic momentum witnessed in recent years is slowing down.

The IMF now forecasts a 3.5% growth rate worldwide for 2019 and 3.6% for 2020. Those are 0.2 and 0.1 percentage points, respectively below its last forecasts in October.
