Social Trading Platform Nested Accumulate $7.5 Million in Series A Funding Round

Nested is trailblazing a new social trading period for a new generation of decentralized finance. With Nested, NFTs can be minted into fungible portfolios, enabling anyone to gain exposure to many different assets, even if they don’t hold them themselves. In effect, Nested lowers investment risk by creating a pay-it-forward system, where users can follow more knowledgeable users and benefit from their expertise and insights. According to their latest report, Nested has secured a $7.5 million Series A funding round to revolutionize how investors trade financial assets on blockchains.

The funding round was led by famous crypto-asset billionaire investor Alan Howard’s Brevan Howard, with Kenetic Capital, CMT Digital and Republic Capital, along with other investment firms. The Series A round was also supported by tech personalities, including Julien Bouteloup, founder of REKT, Blackpool, StakeDAO; Joseph Eagan, ex-president of Polychain Capital; Lily Liu, co-founder of Earn; Andre Durgee, Sam Hallene and Jedan Chu.

Nested has launched on the Polygon, Binance Smart Chain and Avalanche decentralized exchanges, and it plans to launch on other networks in the future. The proceeds from this latest funding round will help Nested grow its team of web3 developers and introduce features such as portfolio leaderboards, staking, lending of assets, decentralized limit orders and social-oriented features, such as user profile creations and integrated messaging features.

The team believes that the combination of NFTs backed by tangible assets and Nested’s trading dashboard will make for highly effective trading tools. With the funding rounds nearing their end and a successful token sale under its belt, the company is on track to deliver more features to support these use cases and further ones in the coming months.
