Market Updates: Spanish Services PMI shows a solid growth at the end of 2018, while French CPI dips

Markit just released the Services PMI figures for Spain, which reveals that the service sector continued to grow at a stable rate at the end of 2018.

The PMI figure jumped to 54 against the forecast of 53.8 and this recent gain is supported by another month of similar-sized gains in new business volumes.

However, the French Prelim CPI m/m slowed down for the second consecutive month: +1.6% in December 2018 after +1.9% in November and +2.2% in October.
