Axie Infinity Origins Is Now Available For Apple Users – AXS Jumped By 10% After App Store Debut
Axie Infinity, a popular NFT game has announced the launch of the iOS version of Axie Infinity: Origins enabling users from selected Asian and Latin American countries.
Axie Infinity: Origins was launched initially as a limited-feature version on the Malaysian Google PlayStore in 2022. This initiative was to provide the development team with an opportunity to make adjustments to the gameplay and to optimize the gaming experience before hitting the other markets.
This game offers a free-to-play experience in Web3 gaming allowing users to play the game without any upfront payments using non-NFT starter Axies giving them a frictionless beginner-friendly experience and boosting the mass adaption of the NFT games.
Releasing Axie Infinity: Origins on the Apple store is a big opportunity for the game. This is the first time that Apple has agreed to incorporate an externally-purchased NFT, making it usable on their platform.
According to Sky Mavis, Axie Infinity: Origins will be available in Apple Stores in Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. At this stage, the worldwide release is still pending.
Meanwhile, the Axie Infinity token (AXS) went up by 27% yesterday peaking at around $8.5 in the Asian-pacific session then fell back to $7.34 in the New York session then retained a 10% daily price appreciation after the announcement.
At this time of writing, AXS‘ price is at $6.99 with a 24-hour volume of $141.90 million. Overall, Axie Infinity is now showing a positive view in today’s market and could break through resistance levels if the buying will continue to rise. As early as now, investors should keep an eye on the charts for any potential gains.
