U.S. Equities Week End Brief: August 18, 2017

Next Week
There really isn’t a whole lot on next week’s docket as far as U.S. equities go. But, rest assured there will be opportunities available.
However, it will be interesting to take a look at the New Home Sales reports and the Housing Price Index for the U.S. real estate market. Those releases will give us a better idea of consumer sentiment and the commercial lending situation.
Is The US Equities Bubble Ready To Pop?
As we head towards September’s FOMC meeting, expect uncertainty in the marketplace. It is still a month away but will be a big part of the institutional investor’s trading plan.
Until then, the intermediate-term future of U.S. equities will be in limbo. Uncertainty creates volatility, and volatility creates opportunity. For some great ideas on how to trade the indices during the most opportune times check out the trading signals on FX leaders.com
