Watch Out the List of EPS Reports Scheduled for Thursday

The US stock indexes closed at fresh record highs after the “first-phase trade deal” was signed by the US and China. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DOW rose 90 points (+0.3%) to 29030, the S&P 500 SPX added 6 points (+0.2%) to 3289 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 7 points (+0.1%) to 9258.

Shares in Utilities (+1.41%), Household & Personal Products (+0.99%) and Health Care Equipment & Services (+0.99%) sectors gained the most.

UnitedHealth Group rose 2.8%, McKesson added 2.2% and Blackrock was up 2.3%. On the other hand, Goldman Sachs eased 0.2%, Bank of America dropped 1.8% and US Bancorp lost 2.9%. Target shed 6.6%.
