Malaysia is hosting its own virtual Crypto Art Week, Asia 2021, which is organized by the art collective and the Malaysian NFT group. It will exhibit digital works by 29 hand-picked Malaysian crypto artists and other global digital artists. CAWA Malaysia will run its virtual art week from July 10 to July 18.

NFTs are now making noises, as they can be used for virtual purchases, and provide you with ownership rights for collector’s items. These can be a range of uncommon items, such as tweets, video games, music, audio clips and artworks. They are created through unique identifying codes. CAWA made it possible to showcase NFTs this year, and this is by far the largest crypto art showcase, featuring more than 300 of Asia’s biggest names in terms of digital art. CAWA aims to diversify the crypto art world and connect the greatest artists throughout Asia. CAWA Malaysia is aiming for the same result.

Crypto Art Week Malaysia will be a virtual event held at the online Malaysia NFT gallery, which consists of three major spaces. The event aims to promote Malaysian crypto artists to digital natives and newbies, galleries, potential patrons and collectors.

CAWA Malaysia’s goal is to create an interesting route, prompted by the current pandemic, by promoting new experiences and influences for the Malaysian population. NFT plays a big role in promoting this goal. This will definitely help boost both the NFT and the crypto ecosystem, as more people dive into this technology.
