The latest big name wanting to get in on the DeFi and NFT boom is leading cryptocurrency exchange OKEx, with its launch of a DeFi Hub, featuring an NFT marketplace as well as a DeFi Dashboard. With this, the exchange is looking to diversify its interests beyond cryptocurrency trading and offer its users a way to manage their DeFi portfolios as well as create and invest in NFTs.

OKEx’s NFT Marketplace will allow content creators and digital artists to mint, own and trade NFT collectibles without any transaction fees. The decentralized offering will empower content creators to set their own royalty fees which they will receive after every subsequent transaction on the platform’s secondary market. In addition, it will also allow users to import NFTs from other supported platforms.

Meanwhile, the DeFi Dashboard provides OKEx’s users an overview of their entire portfolio as well as a way to access information about their digital collectibles separately. Both offerings will cover a wide range of leading blockchain networks and will support users’ ability to connect external wallets to gain access to them.

With this, the exchange not only gets an opportunity to tap newer markets and grow its user base but will also be able to support the advancement of the wider crypto sector into gaining mainstream acceptance.
