Kamala Harris Setting Herself up as a Crypto Supporter

Is Kamala Harris going to become a cryptocurrency ally if she is elected President? That is the question that crypto analysts are trying to answer, and they may have some help from Kamala herself.

Vice President Harris is looking more and more like a crypto supporter now that she has made public statements about supporting AI and digital assets. At a recent fundraiser, Harris stated that she is pushing for greater American competition, and she is planning to make investments in what she considers the future of the country. According to her, that includes artificial intelligence technology and cryptocurrency coins.

This is her first time speaking in a public forum about her unquestioned support for crypto, which is very promising for investors. They already know they have Donald Trump’s support if he is elected President. He has made it very clear that he will keep government regulation for crypto light and will establish a Bitcoin fund to be used by the government.

The Harris Difference

Now, President Joe Biden’s actions as leader of the free world have been a key factor in making the Democratic Party look anti-crypto. In his presidency, he has signed 30 federal regulations for AI last year and has overseen further regulation of cryptocurrency.

Harris is now aligning herself with the Republican stance on this issue. The issue of crypto is one of the less controversial topics this election cycle, and it is one that Democrats and Republicans look to agree on, for the most part.

So far, Trump has made more decisive plans for what he intends to do about helping crypto if he is elected. He has promised to fire the chair of the SEC, Gary Gensler. Harris’ plans so afar are much murkier, and if she intends to grab the younger voters who care strongly about crypto, she needs to make more definitive statements and plans.
