In keeping with the upward trend, on November 8, BlackRock’s spot Ethereum ETF received $60.3 million, the most continuous inflow in 94 days.

The heightened interest in Ethereum’s recent price surge is probably the cause of this high amount of entry into the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF.

Some market players attribute this surge to heightened interest in Ethereum and other cryptocurrency assets following Donald Trump’s election as the 47th president of the United States. Though in lower sums than BlackRock’s ETF, other well-known funds have also witnessed recent inflows, including Fidelity’s Ethereum Fund and VanEck’s Ethereum Fund.
Ethereum Posts Biggest Weekly Gain, Backed by Increased Whale Activity
Apart from this Ether (ETH) also posted its biggest weekly gain since May 2024. Since the price of ether is still near the $3,000 mark, which was last hit in August, the ETF has drawn close to $84.3 million in the last week.
📈 Ethereum, currently sitting at $3.12K, is finally showing the growth that helped it climb to the #2 ranked market cap asset in crypto, largely staying in this position throughout the past 8 years.

Because of the 14-week peak for large transactions (over $1 million) and the $10.4 billion overall volume in a single week, market experts are keeping a close eye on Ethereum’s “whale” behavior. The potential for Ethereum’s price to continue rising is indicated by the increase in interest shown by significant investors, or “whales.”
One important component is Ethereum’s “Liveliness” indicator, which gauges long-term holders’ (LTHs’) level of activity. An increase in this measure indicates that some LTHs are liquidating, which might lead to selling pressure and impede Ethereum’s climb. However, Ethereum may receive more support and have a higher chance of hitting new highs if these holders choose to hang onto their holdings rather than liquidate them.
According to analysts, the next objective for Ethereum might be $3,524 if it can break through $3,327 and establish a support level. This would necessitate sustained interest from whale and individual investors. However, if LTHs keep selling, Ethereum would find it difficult to overcome the resistance and might drop as low as $2,930, indicating a temporary decline.
The significant ETF inflows and high whale activity have supported Ethereum’s surge and raised expectations for new all-time highs. Ethereum may be ready for additional upward momentum if it can sustain these gains and break $3,327. However, to avoid further price declines, consistent backing from institutional investors and long-term holders will be essential.
