Silver Forecast: Dovish Policy Shift Could Propel XAG/USD Beyond $65 Mark

Silver spot prices are trading around $57 to $58 per troy ounce. The market is digesting a pullback after reaching unprecedented peaks earlier this year.

Silver Price Forecast

The Record High & Correction: After spiking into high-volatility territory early in the year—driven by speculative flows and structural deficits—silver has cooled and is currently consolidating within a $55–$61.30 range.

Near-term sentiment is being driven by the Federal Reserve’s monetary stance under Chair Kevin Warsh. Concerns over sticky inflation and speculative bets on a potential late-summer rate hike have capped rapid upside. Any dovish shift or confirmation of rate cuts heading into autumn could serve as the primary catalyst to test the upper boundary of $65 an ounce.

Easing tensions in the Middle East and fluctuating crude oil prices have temporarily eased inflation fears, allowing silver to settle into a consolidation phase.

Industrial & Technology Demand: Silver continues to benefit from multi-year structural deficits. Expanding applications in solar PV, electric vehicles, and high-density computing (AI infrastructure) provide a strong baseline demand floor that limits long-term downside.

Gold-to-Silver Ratio: Traders are watching for potential ratio compression. Silver tends to act as a high-beta alternative to gold, meaning any renewed upward push in safe-haven precious metals could cause silver to outperform gold on a percentage basis.
