AquaGoat: The first ocean-centered coin on the Binance Smart Chain

Binance is investing $200 million in Forbes

As the crypto journey continues, we have tackled lots of cryptocurrencies, including meme coins and several altcoins in the market. But this cryptocurrency is a unique and encouraging one.

AquaGoat is a new digital currency that has drawn the attention of the public, especially those who support marine life conservation and restoration. Australian Developers launched the AquaGoat on April 7, 2021. This cryptocurrency aims to support international organizations and charitable partnerships through earning interest from network activity. “Over the past few centuries, as society has been expanding and growing, our environment has been paying the price”, said Patrick Aberin, co-project manager of AquaGoat.

Patrick Aberin, a Filipino who was raised in North America and is the co-project manager of AquaGoat, describes their own digital currency as the “first ocean-centered cryptocurrency”. With the aim of protecting the ocean, this cryptocurrency will gain enough support as soon as it is fully published. Right now, they’re in the first phase of their roadmap.

The interest funds and donations will be allocated to the international organizations with which AquaGoat has formed partnerships, including Coral Vita, The Ocean Cleanup, Ocean Conservation Society, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Blue Marine Foundation.

Aberin said in an interview that he was inspired by BITCOIN, as it was first published way back in 2009. The “idea of a decentralized digital monetary system, one that had no limits, and no central authority” inspired him. Adding a little support that will benefit the earth’s ecosystem is a smart and helpful idea.
