Theta hit $7.88 (THETA/USD) today, an increase of more than 3% over the last 24 hours. We saw Theta surge over the weekend before it dropped, but now it’s back on its way up.

Theta managed to push past the $8 level on Saturday, reaching as high as $8.32. It fell almost to the $7 line after that, but it is pushing close to that $8 level again today.

Theta’s Strong Performance

The cryptocurrency Theta has been doing very well lately, hitting some of the best levels we have seen for this digital asset all year long. It is well above where it fell to after the market crash in April ($5.96) and above the level it fell to during the July 20^th mini-crash ($3.86). In fact, the last time we saw Theta push so high was during September when it spiked to $9.20 briefly for one if its best moments of the year.

Its performance at the moment is not a brief spike, though, but rather a gradual incline. That means we could continue to see great things from this crypto as it pushes past the $8 level, which we expect it to do very soon.

Theta could definitely go as high as $9 over the next week or so. We saw it fall recently after the entire market went through what is being called a flash crash, but Theta quickly recovered, pushing back above levels we haven’t seen for a while. This demonstrates its strength and continued relevance within the cryptocurrency market.

One indicator to watch for is Theta’s trade volume, which is down almost 15% today. If that indicator continues to stay down, Theta may struggle to get very far past the $8 level, but we expect its recent performance to be an indicator that it’s going to continue pushing on despite some brief setbacks here and there.
