Flagstone Foods, LLC has recalled one lot of 6.5oz Emerald Kettle Glazed Walnut citing the presence of undeclared Peanuts, Almonds and Pecans, known allergens, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The recall involves Emerald Kettle Glazed Walnuts with UPC 0 10300 80894 7, lot code 2EE06284 and best by date of June 28 2025.
The product was distributed to Publix locations in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Consumers have identified the mislabeled product in the state of Florida.
The Emerald Nuts manufacturer initiated the recall after consumers reported finding peanuts, almonds and pecans within packages labelled Emerald Kettle Glazed Walnuts. Following the investigation, it was identified that a limited number of incorrectly labelled packages were produced during the manufacturing process.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Peanuts, Almonds, and Pecans may get serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume or are exposed to the recalled product.
Meanwhile, Flagstone Foods has not received any report of illness or injury related to the impacted product to date.
Customers are asked to discard the recalled product or return them to a Publix store for a full refund.
