Elon Musk First Mortal Worth $439 Billion
Elon Musk is now the richest person in the world, having achieved the latest milestone of $439 billion in net worth.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk’s net worth increased by about $50 billion in a single blow to $439.2 billion after he sold insider shares of his privately held SpaceX.
SpaceX is essentially in charge of the U.S. rocket business and is the global leader in the sector. SpaceX is the most valuable private company in the world. Tesla has been on a wild ride. Donald Trump’s election victory in the 2024 U. S. presidential election sparked another surge in TSLA, which is currently up 60% this year and valued at $1.33 trillion.
“SpaceX has become one of the leading rocket launch companies in the industry, launching satellites, cargo, and people into space for NASA, the Pentagon, and commercial partners. It is also expanding a vast network of Starlink satellites that offer internet service,” according to Bloomberg. Musk has 79 percent of the voting shares in the business.
xAI, a fierce competitor of OpenAI for a large portion of the future of artificial intelligence, might be the most valuable of Musk’s other holdings. xAI is worth between $40 billion and $50 billion, and it recently raised $6 billion. Musk owns more than half of it.
