As the demand for DeFi and NFT increases, a lot of brands and personalities are finding their own way to join the NFT craze. Here are the latest NFT collaborations and new collections that are highly anticipated by many.

Volkswagen Collaborates with Filamen

Filamen, a new media art collective, has been chosen by Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) to launch its new exclusive Arteon NFT, by the name of “Accelerated Futurescapes.” This will feature four unique crypto artworks derived from Volkswagen flagship models, created by two Filamen artists, Syed Mohamad and Jason Choo. This exclusive NFT collection will be available on the Southeast Asian NFT marketplace, Pentas. This promising project will allow the digital mainstream to adopt the relationship between the legendary car and aesthetic imagery, combined in works of art, with Arteon’s signature touch. Volkswagen still has several collaborations up its sleeve. 

Singapore Tycoon’s Son Forges a Community for the Metaverse

Together with Elroy Cheo, Kiat Liam, son of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, aim to jump into the NFT hype with a striking vision of creating an app-based community exclusively for venture capitalists, Web3 developers, Asian entrepreneurs, crypto enthusiasts and social media influencers. This technology startup will link people from South Korea to Taipei, and all the way to Australia, enabling them to network, in order for them to join forces on projects and share knowledge and experience. ARC is a private, NFT-based collaboration app that is exclusive to holders of ARC NFT tokens. They will share ideas and plans on their big vision to formulate the ARC metaverse. The ARC app is currently available for iOS users, and the Android version is currently on trial.

Quentin Tarantino Drops his NFT Collection

Famous film director Quentin Tarantino launched his NFT collection, inspired by his 1994 film, “Pulp Fiction.” The collection is made up of seven creative pieces of art from Tarantino’s very own script that he wrote for the movie, with an exclusive audio commentary by Tarantino himself. Secret NFT will be available on Secret Network, the director’s platform of choice. This NFT is different from any other NFTs minted on other blockchains; Secret NFT has hidden content that is only available to the owner. Despite Miramax filing a lawsuit to slow them down, this highly anticipated NFT project will be auctioned starting January 17.

Judging by all the projects mentioned above, one thing is clear: the NFT industry is booming and it will continue to flourish throughout the year.
