The CEO of Facebook’s parent company Meta, Mark Zuckerberg is definitely one of the most influential people across the globe. Mark recently talked about his vision regarding the Metaverse and its economy. On Wednesday, Facebook Pay has been renamed Meta Pay which will be the official name of the company’s payment service.

Mark hopes to build in develop something that will allow users to handle their property, identity, and means of payment in the future digital world. Even if the company has been through a lot of challenges, Mark sees all of these hindrances as stepping stones for the upcoming success of the Metaverse. 

He envisions the company as the next generation of social media and believes the economy is a vital part of it where the trading of digital goods for avatars who can communicate with each other. Zuckerberg stated that the target is one billion users who would be interested and be spending more than hundreds of dollars. The feature on being able to purchase content, digital goods, artworks, music, and other products available through e-commerce, virtual events, send donations, and some other things where you can certainly express yourself.
