Launched in September 2022, y00ts has became one of the most popular NFT collection and is now making a move to provide more ease to buyers.

De Labs officially announced on Tuesday that y00ts will be migrating from its native Solana blockchain to the Polygon network to speed up transactions and decrease network fees. DeLabs will be receiving a $3 million grant from Polygon to facilitate the migration. On the other hand, DeLabs’ sister project DeGods will be migrating as well from the Solana network over to Ethereum.

Existing y00ts NFT holders can now begin the migration process by visiting the y00ts website and connecting their wallets. In the first 24 hours of migration, DeLabs will be waiving the network fees and offering existing holders a chance to win an Ordinals-based DeGods NFT that has been inscribed on the Bitcoin Network. Holders will also receive $5 USDC per y00t listed on NFT marketplace Magic Eden and will be able to stake for free.

However, holders who won’t be able to migrate NFTs before April 3rd will be subject to a 33.3% “Paper Hands Bridge Tax” which will result in a fine payable by increased royalty fees.

Currently, over 9,000 y00ts have already been migrated to the Polygon network and the floor price of the collection is hovering around 1.8 ETH or just about $3,200.

Y00ts is a Solana-based NFT project consisting of 15,000 degenerative art collections on the Solana Blockchain. It aims to build a community of the coolest people in Web3 by using a transparent mint list and a scholarship system that has been deployed in the minting of t00bs, its minting token.
