Solana Surges to Nearly 7% Gain in 24 Hours
Solana is up again after several days of bullish behavior and could surge much higher over the next few days.
Solana (SOL) is picking up steam as it recovers most of the lost ground for this year and pushes upward.
The bulls look to be taking hold of Solana Thursday as it moves higher than it has been in nearly a week. There is a slight dip at the time of writing, but overall, the coin has gained 6.75% over the last 24 hours.
This is in addition to gains of 12.08% for the last 30 days and gains of more than 300% since October of last year. In other words, this is a coin to be watching closely. The cryptocurrency instrument Solana has been of great interest to investors over the past few months, breaking many of its own records. It has even surged to a volume of $2.1 billion over the last day, which is up 47% from the previous day. Apparently, investors are catching on to this coin and pushing it much higher in hopes that it will continue to skyrocket.
What You Can Expect from SOL
This flurry of activity is likely to elevate SOL and keep it near the top of the crypto market. The SOL price is $101.08 (SOL/USD) as of press time. The coin reached as high as $109.55 this year and achieved an almost two-year high of $121.08 on Christmas Day.
What this demonstrates is that with the right circumstances, Solana can outperform many of the other cryptos on the charts, most of which are seeing much smaller gains from week to week than SOL is. This is one of the most interesting cryptos to watch because of its volatility, high volume, and its potential for gains.
We expect SOL to go above $120 again in the near future, though it would be hard-pressed to reach as high as its all-time high of $260 anytime soon. We expect the current run to continue for at least a few more days and take SOL close to or past the $110 level.
